Jesus places his mission in the wider horizon of the will of the Father and asserts that doing the will of the Father is for him like food in life. This is, in a sense, preparation for the final statement from the cross: “It is finished” (Jn 19: 30). Jesus thirst and hungers for the accomplishment of the Father’s will. So when Jesus brought woman to the experience of abiding in the Father, he is refreshed, quenched, and satisfied. Jesus is sustained in existence by doing the will of the Father. Our mission, therefore, must be located within this circle of God’s plan to experience proper fulfilment. All are inside the circle of God’s plan.
